It may be required to scan your drive for disk errors from time-to-time, to resolve potential issues with your drive.

To do this:

1. Open a Windows file explorer window.

2. Click This PC on the left-hand pane.

3. Right-click the drive that you wish to scan for errors, and click Properties.

4. Click the Tools tab.

5. Under Error checking, click the Check button.

Follow on-screen instructions to scan your drive for errors.

You may need to restart your PC to finish the drive repair process.
