No audio output from headphone jack on my Rok Box tower PC

Your Rok Box may feature a 1/8" headphone output/mic input combo jack on the front of your PC's tower case.

If, when plugging headphones into this jack, you do not hear any audio output, it may be necessary to check the cable which connects the front panel headphone jack to the motherboard.

Please open your PC case an inspect this cable seen here:

This cable connects to the front panel headphone/input jack connector on your PC case.

If it is disconnected, it can be connected by simply pushing it into place into the small multi-pin connector that is in the location to which the arrow is pointing here:

Note that the wire and its connector are keyed (it will match up with the pins on this connector), so you can only plug it in in one way.

If, after having checked this cable connection, you do not have any audio output from the onboard jack on the front of your PC case, your headset/headphones may be incompatible with the combo headset/mic jack on the front of the case. Some headsets have issues with these combo jacks. It is therefore advised to try using a different headset to troubleshoot.
