The USB ports on the front of my RokBox SLATE AV case do not function

The two USB ports on the front of your RokBox Slate AV PC case are controlled by a cable that connects them to the motherboard inside your PC.

If these ports are not functioning, the likely reason is that said connector has come loose from the motherboard.

Ensure the PC is powered-off.

Remove the top panel from your Slate AV case and set it aside.

Look here inside the PC:

The connector to which the arrow in the photo above is pointing is the USB 3.0 header connector for your front case ports.

The inside of your PC may differ from the photo above. If in doubt of where this connector is located, contact support.

Ensure that this connector is firmly-seated.

If in question, push it forwards into the connector to ensure a firm connection, or pull it backwards to release it, then press firmly back into place.

Power the PC on and test the port.
Ensure you're using a device that will show some kind of life -- a USB thumb drive with a light on it, a hard drive that will be mounted by Windows, etc.

If you continue to have issues, reach out to support.
