Connecting onboard Wi-Fi to your Rok Box desktop or rackmount PC

In some cases, your Rok Box's motherboard will feature onboard Wi-Fi for wireless internet connectivity.

In general, you'll need to connect an included Wi-Fi antenna to the motherboard in order to facilitate a strong Wi-Fi connection, as the wireless antenna onboard the motherboard will not be able to gather enough signal for a fast and strong connection.

With your PC would be additional cables and accessories, one of which would be the Wi-Fi antenna, which connects to these ports on the back of the PC:

The antenna looks similar to this:

Connect the screw connectors to the motherboard, and ideally set the antenna on top of the PC case (it is magnetized so it can attach to the top of the case).

Reboot and then check your Wi-Fi signal and internet connectivity again.

Note that Rok Box MC Mobile and Micro PCs will not include an external antenna.
