Using Power Profiles in Windows

Your Rok Box comes pre-configured with a custom power plan, set in Windows, that is meant to unlock the full power of your CPU and your PC.

This power plan is called the Ultimate Power Plan, and it is set via the Windows legacy Control Panel, which you may access by clicking Start and typing: Control Panel.

In the Control Panel, search for "Power" in the top-right-hand search box, and then click Choose a power plan.

In the resulting window, ensure that Ultimate Power Plan is selected as the active power plan:

If the plan is not selected, click the radio button next to it, and exit the control panel.

There is also a Windows power setting found in the modern Windows 11 control panel, which is accessed by clicking Start, and then clicking Power, sleep, and battery settings

In the resulting settings panel, ensure that Best Performance is selected as the power mode:

If either of these settings are changed, please reboot your PC after having done so.

If you wish to save electricity and use less power when your PC is not being used for production, you may select power-saving modes in the legacy Control Panel and Windows 11 settings panel.
